Fortinet SD WAN NSS Labs Report

You may not always have considered Fortinet as an SD WAN vendor however the core QoS/balancing functionality is built into our Fortigates FOC.

This means Fortinet are starting to see some really big projects where enterprises are choosing our small Fortigates (i.e. 60E’s) for all their remote sites and reduce the CPE footprint.

The cool thing is that Fortinet use application / IPS signatures to help write quality of service rules – whilst also being able to use those same signatures to help with security posture etc. too.
