Gary Liddle
Public Sector Director – Central Government
With nearly 38 years in the Civil Service, including over 25 years in commercial leadership at His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), Gary managed around £1bn of annual IT spend and led some of the Department’s most complex technology procurements. He also spent a year with the Foreign Office overseeing global IT procurement, gaining unique international experience. At SCC, he works with Central Government customers helping them deliver better services through digital transformation and building genuine, outcome-focused partnerships.

Public Sector Director – Central Government
With 27 years of experience as a British Army Officer, including operational leadership in Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Afghanistan, Charlie went on to drive digital transformation across Defence, authoring the Army’s first Digital Strategy in 2014 and serving as Chief Customer Officer at MOD Corsham and advisor to the Defence CIO in Whitehall. Since leaving the Army in 2020, he has held senior industry roles with Fujitsu Defence and National Security and Adarga, bringing deep expertise in delivering mission-critical digital solutions. At SCC, he leads our MOD partnership, focused on building trusted partnerships and supporting the UK’s Defence mission through innovation and delivery excellence.
