Amardeep Rai is a senior leader within IBM Consulting, where he specialises in driving digital transformation across the UK’s energy, utilities, and nuclear sectors. He leads strategic programmes focused on digital engineering, PLM, asset management, and AI-enabled delivery—helping clients modernise complex capital programmes and regulated asset bases through data-centric and model-based approaches.
With a career spanning major national infrastructure and new-build nuclear programmes—including roles supporting initiatives such as Rolls-Royce SMR, newcleo, Hinkley Point C, and the UKAEA STEP fusion project—Amardeep has established himself as a trusted advisor at the intersection of engineering, regulation, and digital technology. His work integrates IBM’s industry and technology capabilities to create digital threads that connect design, construction, and operations through platforms such as Teamcenter, Maximo, SAP S/4HANA, and AI-driven analytics.
A strong advocate for innovation and cross-industry collaboration, he leads multidisciplinary teams combining engineering, data science, and transformation expertise to deliver tangible value for clients and the wider ecosystem.
