Summary
Arco, the UK’s leading safety experts, partnered with Visavvi (an SCC company) to design and deliver a modern, technology-enabled workspace at their new headquarters at Blackfriargate. The project focused on creating a flexible, collaborative environment supported by integrated AV, communication and digital workplace solutions to enhance employee experience and organisational agility.

Challenge
As part of its move to a new headquarters, Arco set out to create a workspace that would better support modern, flexible ways of working for a large and diverse workforce. With over 1,600 colleagues nationwide and up to 600 based at the new office, the environment needed to accommodate a high volume of users with varying needs, while remaining simple and intuitive to use.
A key challenge was ensuring that collaboration spaces could be used efficiently and without friction. With meeting rooms, huddle spaces and shared environments, Arco needed a solution that would make it easy for colleagues to find, book and use spaces effectively.
In addition, Arco wanted to deliver an engaging and connected experience for both employees and visitors. This meant implementing digital communication tools that could keep pace with the organisation’s scale, while creating a visually impressive, high-impact environment that reflected Arco’s brand and market position.
Solution
Visavvi worked closely with Arco through a detailed consultation process to design and implement a fully integrated AV and collaboration ecosystem. Through a series of collaborative discovery sessions, they identified six technology pillars to shape the solution:
- Digital Signage – ONELAN CMS enabled dynamic, scalable content management across 15+ displays, supporting both internal communications and customer engagement.
- Room Booking and Monitoring – ONELAN Reserva provided real-time visibility and seamless integration with Outlook, improving space utilisation and productivity.
- Communication and Collaboration – Poly video solutions integrated with RingCentral delivered high-quality, intuitive collaboration experiences across all meeting environments.
- Formal and Informal Meeting Spaces and Hubs – Barco ClickShare enabled simple, wireless content sharing, ensuring easy use across a range of meeting spaces.
- Multi-function Boardroom and Auditorium – A flexible, videowall-enabled environment supported large meetings, presentations and hybrid collaboration.
- Showpiece Reception and Briefing Area – A visually striking videowall created an engaging, high-impact first impression for visitors.

Outcomes
The project successfully delivered a modern, technology-enabled workplace that supports Arco’s vision for a flexible, collaborative way of working, while enhancing both employee and visitor experience across a large, distributed workforce.
