Babcock and SCC
Babcock needed a supply chain that could grow with them.

With their large international growth into new markets, Babcock had to change their working practices to accommodate international markets, working practices and regulations.
For the IT department, they needed a supply chain that could grow with them, consistent service levels and a complete service that was secure in each country they moved into.
SCC moved Babcock’s IT from a federated environment to a single, centrally controlled and supported IT environment. Subsequently, SCC provides a variety of technical services, from high skilled design through to desktop support.
The key changes that Babcock’s IT face is the internationalisation. Simon Parker, CIO at Babcock, commented: “We’re looking to SCC for their ability to work across multiple countries and supply service levels that are appropriate in each of those countries.
