Microsoft Looking for Partner to Develop Cortana for Cars

Microsoft is reported to be seeking a partner to develop ‘connected cars’ that make use of its Cortana voice recognition system. It is said to have already developed a prototype that also has an integrated navigation system that shows drivers information on the windscreen.

Microsoft first unveiled its Windows in the Car concept in 2014, demonstrating how a Windows interface could be projected onto a touch-sensitive interface on an in-car display. It has already provided in-car technology to Ford, BMW and Fiat.
