CEO’s Shown to Drive Transformation in the Public Sector
A report has found that chief executives are more influential as the driving force behind digital transformation than chief information and technology officers in most in public sector organisations
In the survey, conducted by iGov for the Google apps specialist Ancoris, 59% of respondents holding senior positions in public bodies said that they saw the CEO as being critical to driving modernisation of online services. Only 4.2% see CIOs and CTOs as key agents for change.
Almost three-quarters (73%) have a positive view of cloud and almost two-thirds plan to make use of both cloud and collaboration solutions.
