Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 Revealed

PhotoshopAdobe has launched the latest versions of its popular Photoshop Elements 14 and Premiere Elements 14, which are designed for working with still images and video respectively. New features make both packages even more attractive and there should be a significant upgrade opportunity as amongst professional and enthusiast customers alike.

Key improvements see updates made to the Elements Organizer, which comes with both apps, including enhanced views and sorting capabilities. A new Shake Reduction feature enables users to sharpen up slightly jittery shots with a single click and the Haze Remover feature can be used to eliminate blurring caused by moisture or other atmospheric factors. There is also a feature, called Speed Guided Edit, that does almost the opposite, allowing users to add a motion effect to action photos.  The separate Guided Edit feature fits images to any frame or size limit, and Fine Detail Selection enables faster retouching of details.

New features in Premiere Elements 14 include a slow-motion effects capability and the ability to edit 4K video footage. Audio has been revamped to make editing sound easier and it’s now easier to manage separate audio and video components as required.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 and Premiere Elements 14 are both available now.
