SCC wins Corporate VAR of the Year at PCR Awards 2022
SCC has been named Corporate VAR of the Year at the PCR Awards 2022.Europe’s largest independent technology solutions provider was also highly commended for MSP Specialist of the Year at the prestigious awards, organised by PCR magazine publisher BizMedia, which celebrate the best in the UK PC and tech industry. |  |
The PCR Awards honours companies, including distributors, resellers, retailers, and vendors, with SCC scooping one of the flagship accolades. SCC won Corporate VAR of the Year for its clear focus and delivery against three key areas – people and culture, customer experience and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). Over the past 12 months, SCC has undertaken several initiatives to reinforce its culture, starting with refreshing the corporate values to reflect its modern organisation. The new values – Responsibility, Passion, Customer First, Agility, and Family – truly represent who SCC wish to be as an organisation and how it does business. SCC continues to operate a hybrid working model for the majority of its colleagues and has invested in its facilities, with its newly refurbished global head office in Birmingham as well as new offices in London and a centralised North West presence in Manchester.

SCC is placing focus on delivery excellence and has initiated several projects to improve processes, internal capability, and automation. SCC also made two significant acquisitions this year to deepen its specialist expertise and drive our growth strategy – adding established businesses in AV/collaboration and cloud software licencing. ESG is an increasing area of focus for SCC, underpinned by its new value of Responsibility. To demonstrate its commitment to ESG, SCC created a dedicated ESG committee to drive its strategy across a broad range of areas. This includes the introduction of a diversity and inclusion group with seven employee networks, led by colleagues and open to all to foster a diverse and inclusive business.
