SCC NAMED AS A SUPPLIER ON CCS CLOUD COMPUTE 2 FRAMEWORK
European technology solutions and services firm SCC has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Cloud Compute 2 framework, further extending its service offering to the public sector.
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2022/23, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
Cloud Compute 2 [RM6292] provides public sector buyers a route to procure cloud services including Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service solutions. It is the second iteration of Cloud Compute, which launched in 2021 to complement the G-Cloud framework.
SCC has been successful in both of the Lots it bid for:
- Lot 1 – Value-added Ancillary Services
- Lot 2 – Professional Services
This is the latest CCS framework SCC has been named on, having recently secured spots on CCS TePAS 2 [RM6098], Big Data and Analytics agreement [RM6195], and CCS Network Services 3 [RM6116]. SCC has been included on every iteration of the CCS G-Cloud framework since its inception in 2012.
