SCC wins Cisco Community Impact Award

SCC walked away with a prestigious trophy at the Cisco Do Good Awards 2019 on Thursday 21st February. Taking place at Cisco’s UK Partner Forum in Liverpool, the awards aim to celebrate the contributions and achievements of individuals and businesses for their incredible work within the community. SCC’s charitable work in France, as part of the Course Du Coeur, was recognised through the Community Impact Award. The Course du Coeur is a 800km amateur event from Paris to les Arcs, crossing 200+ towns in France and consists of 23 teams of 14 runners, who run in relay mode for 4 days and 4 nights non-stop to spread the importance of organ donation. SCC’s relentless campaigning of this important issue led to them scooping the award which recognises those that puts social impact and responsible business at the heart of what they do, and delivers impact across a range of projects and programmes. Ali Dando, SCC Cisco Partner Manager, said, “This year the change of format to the Cisco UK&I Partner Forum provided the opportunity to explore current Cisco technology and how it can support SCC as a Cisco Gold Partner and our customers; it also allowed a chance to consider people less fortunate and acknowledge the individuals and organisations who support them. We are thrilled to be chosen by Cisco to receive the Community Impact Award, recognising our contribution to this important awareness campaign.”
