SCC have carried out a research project into workplace productivity, where a panel of 550 IT decision-makers were surveyed from 11 different sectors. This included both public and private sectors across the UK in police, education, local government, central government, healthcare, national security & defence, banking & finance, energy & utilities, manufacturing, retail, and travel & logistics. 21% of respondents are C-level executives. 79% are senior, non-board members, of which 33% have a specific focus on IT security. Of the companies included in the survey, 49% have between 1,000 and 4,999 employees. 51% have between 5,000 and 10,000 employees. Much of the data provides interesting and at times surprising detail that helps paint an accurate picture of Workplace Productivity in UK business. This data has been turned into SCC’s inaugural ‘IT Insights Report’, a series of new reports commissioned by SCC to gain valuable insight into the UK IT solutions market. In this report, broken into ten areas, we explore Workplace Productivity, with detailed analysis of trends around mobility, remote working, security, wellbeing, applications, service desk, collaboration, print, and outsourcing.
