Europe’s largest independent IT group is celebrating winning a major award for its vital contribution to the growth of one of its partners in the UK and France.
Birmingham-based SCC was presented with NetApp’s European Star Partner Award 2012 for its valued input into the growth of its business.
The NetApp UK&I Partner Awards 2012 are held to highlight the work carried out by its partners in their commitment to achieving excellence, innovation and quality as well as showcasing their achievements.
Dave Allen, Country Manager at NetApp UK, said SCC’s award as its European Star Partner of the Year was great recognition and a vote of confidence in the two businesses working together as well as driving new customer opportunities.
“We share common goals of delivering long-term value to our customers, taking out unnecessary cost and simplifying customers’ IT infrastructure around NetApp’s industry leading technology proposition,” he said.
“SCC’s partnership has been a key differential in the market for NetApp, both here in the UK and in France, and under James Rigby’s leadership I have great confidence that this success will continue.”
James Rigby, UK Managing Director of SCC, said receiving NetApp’s European Star Partner award is great proof that the company is a major force in the European market.
He said: “Designing, delivering and managing large and complex IT infrastructure is a core part of our business, and the fact that we resell NetApp technology; host, manage and support NetApp technology; and indeed use their equipment in our own business are testament to how far we have come together in recent years.
“NetApp is a brand we trust and, most importantly, a brand that is valued and trusted by our clients.
“NetApp’s business model also supports our ambition to deliver cost effective, high performance, highly available and highly achievable IT infrastructure.
“Looking forward, I believe this successful partnership will go from strength to strength as customers benefit from the value of our two companies working together.”
