SCC has forged a partnership with Symantec, the global leader in security, backup and availability solutions, to launch a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution offering. This offering has been designed to help enterprise organisations in the UK to cope with the security and logistical challenges posed by the proliferating use of smart phones and tablet computers in the workplace.
SCC, Europe’s largest independent technology solutions provider has launched the hosted service in response to growing demand from public sector clients across the UK. These organisations have a pressing need for tools capable of managing organisation-wide strategies to support, police and secure the use of public sector and mobile devices. The cloud-based service makes Symantec’s Mobile Management technology available to UK organisations and is hosted and run from SCC’s UK data centre. Symantec’s Mobile Management offers enterprises the opportunity to increase workforce effectiveness and flexibility without compromising the integrity of its internal systems or data.
