SCC Appoints Russell Brown as UK CEO to Drive Growth
SCC, a leading European IT services and solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Russell Brown as UK Chief Executive Officer, effective 15 January 2026. Russell succeeds Dennis Badman, who is stepping down following a period of leadership that strengthened the UK organisation’s delivery capability and operational foundations.
The leadership transition comes as SCC continues the evolution of its operating model, moving to a European shared services approach for service delivery and operations. This shift enables greater scale, consistency and efficiency across the Group, while repositioning the UK organisation towards sales leadership, customer engagement and growth. Under Dennis Badman’s leadership, the UK business developed strong delivery capability and operational resilience. With the shared European delivery model now established, SCC is entering its next phase, focused on accelerating growth, deepening customer relationships and expanding higher-value, solution-led services.
Russell Brown brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, the majority of which was spent at Computacenter, where he held senior leadership roles across Europe and the United States. He has a strong track record of building and leading sales and services organisations, driving sustained growth through customer-centric strategies, clear market focus and disciplined execution.
During his career, Brown has led organisations through significant change, including aligning teams by customer and industry, strengthening partner ecosystems, and increasing the proportion of higher-value services within the business. In the United States, he went on to lead large enterprise-focused teams, working closely with customers and partners on complex technology and services engagements.
“Dennis has played an important role in strengthening our UK delivery capability, and we thank him for his contribution,” said Robert Vassoyan, European CEO “As we transition to a European shared services model, the UK business is entering a new phase focused on growth and customer value. Russell’s experience in leading sales-driven, customer-centric organisations makes him the right leader for this next chapter.”
Originally from Birmingham, Russell Brown will relocate back to the UK with his family in the new year. He is recognised for his direct, people-focused leadership style, combining operational rigour with a strong emphasis on customer outcomes and team engagement.
Commenting on his appointment, Russell Brown said:
“I’m delighted to be joining SCC at a pivotal moment. The move to a European shared services model provides a strong platform for growth, and I’m excited to lead the UK organisation as it sharpens its focus on customers, AI innovation and value-led services.”
Under Russell’s leadership, SCC aims to further strengthen its position in the UK market and reinforce its role as a flagship business within the wider SCC Group.
