SCC has been named as a supplier on the prestigious Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Technology Services 3 (TS3) Framework, through which Public Sector bodies in the UK can procure a range of ICT services.

This ensures SCC maintains its position on the next iteration of the successful Technology Services 2 (TS2) Framework. TS3 builds on the scope and efficacy of TS2, with improvements such as, higher quality thresholds and simpler procedures.

TS3 continues to cover traditional ICT services, from strategy through to transition and operational deployment. The new and future services have been requested throughout customer and supplier engagement. Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

The updated Framework has been designed for longevity, in order to meet the changing needs of a developing world, including key post-COVID-19 considerations.

SCC was successful on all the Lots it applied to, including:

  • Lot 1 – Technology Strategy & Services Design
  • Lot 2 – Transition & Transformation
  • Lot 3 – Operational Services
  • 3a End User Services
  • 3c Technical Management
  • 3d Application & Data Management

TS3 goes live in June 2021, with a built in five-month transition from TS2, and will run for four years, to 2025.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is an Executive Agency of the Cabinet Office. CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.
