SCC has been named as a supplier on the prestigious Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Technology Services 3 (TS3) Framework, through which Public Sector bodies in the UK can procure a range of ICT services.
This ensures SCC maintains its position on the next iteration of the successful Technology Services 2 (TS2) Framework. TS3 builds on the scope and efficacy of TS2, with improvements such as, higher quality thresholds and simpler procedures.
TS3 continues to cover traditional ICT services, from strategy through to transition and operational deployment. The new and future services have been requested throughout customer and supplier engagement. Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
The updated Framework has been designed for longevity, in order to meet the changing needs of a developing world, including key post-COVID-19 considerations.
SCC was successful on all the Lots it applied to, including:
- Lot 1 – Technology Strategy & Services Design
- Lot 2 – Transition & Transformation
- Lot 3 – Operational Services
- 3a End User Services
- 3c Technical Management
- 3d Application & Data Management
Richard Reader, Head of Public Sector at SCC, said: “TS3 offers Public Sector customers a flexible and compliant way to source technology services at a critical time for digital transformation. Already recognised within the Public Sector for delivering exceptional service and value through its IT services, SCC’s continued presence on the Technology Services Framework demonstrates its position as a leading supplier.
“Having delivered many contracts via the previous iterations of the Technology Services framework, being part of the TS3 framework further broadens SCC’s reach and capability for its public sector customers. Coupled with our long track record delivering for the Public Sector, this latest win means organisations can accelerate their journey through Digital Transformation.
“SCC has over 30 years’ experience working with the public sector across large scale and complex IT infrastructure and cloud-based projects and we welcome the opportunity to build on this, ensuring IT becomes a true strategic asset for those within Public Sector, particularly during the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.”
TS3 goes live in June 2021, with a built in five-month transition from TS2, and will run for four years, to 2025.
