Mark Walmsley, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP

Mark Walmsley is an experienced CISO. The majority of Mark’s professional career has been spent within the legal industry, working within litigation before moving to business services where he manages high-value, complex work. Over the past 2 years Mark has had a part-time secondment to the National Cyber Security Centre where he helps manage the government and legal industry engagement.

Ritesh Patel, Security Principal, bp

Ritesh Patel is Security Principal at bp. He has been with bp for 19 years. During this this time he has held a variety of roles from trading support lead to Operations Control Manager to Service Portfolio Owner to his current role. As Security Principal the role has evolved to encompass accountability for all of vulnerability Identification and awareness in the stack. This includes everything from Threat modelling to EDR to Threat protection with the main goal of reducing the attack surface. In this role Ritesh is supporting bp’s ambitions by enabling bp to innovate at pace in a disciplined, safe & secure way. Ritesh’s previous organisations include BBC, Godman Sachs & NHS Direct.

Justin Shaw-Gray, Sales Director UKI, Synack

Justin Shaw-Gray is Sales Director for the UKI region for Synack, Inc. In 2018, shortly after joining Synack, Justin was awarded SC Media’s Runner Up for Best Cybersecurity Sales Leader. Prior to Synack Justin held senior roles at Netscope, Zscaler, and Riverbed. Justin is originally from Zimbabwe where he was Founder and Human Rights Activist for the Restoration of Human Rights Zimbabwe. Justin is an avid runner and lives in London with his wife and three young children.

Steve Goff - Cyber Security Specialist, SCC

Steve has over 25 years experience in IT specialist roles with the last 6 year focused on Cyber Security. Steve has a breadth of knowledge around the challenges that organisations face, as well as a strong understanding of the many Cyber Security Vendor offerings.
