Ritesh Patel is Security Principal at bp. He has been with bp for 19 years. During this this time he has held a variety of roles from trading support lead to Operations Control Manager to Service Portfolio Owner to his current role. As Security Principal the role has evolved to encompass accountability for all of vulnerability Identification and awareness in the stack. This includes everything from Threat modelling to EDR to Threat protection with the main goal of reducing the attack surface. In this role Ritesh is supporting bp’s ambitions by enabling bp to innovate at pace in a disciplined, safe & secure way.
