SCC’s integrated Lifecycle e-business solution has given PHS Group control over IT procurement by encouraging a self-service culture.

The online catalogue gives PHS Group IT users complete visibility of end-to-end processes, from procuring new equipment, break/fix and refurbishment stages, through to configuration, delivery and deployment of the new equipment.

The Lifecycle portal allows for faster responses to requests and greater visibility for IT users, who have the ability to log incidents and track their requests at any time, from anywhere.

PHS Group has also made the transition from onsite engineers to using dedicated SCC field engineers. PHS Group utilise SCC’s depots around the UK for fast, efficient supply of parts to support the Lifecycle solution.

SCC’s field engineers, committed to the maintenance of hardware on PHS Group sites and workshops, have enabled PHS Group to increase fix rate for the first time, meaning greater business efficiency.
