Welcome to the latest product from the GreenIT Box family. This service allows you to cost effectively dispose of discarded batteries from the workplace – meeting new Environmental Legislation.

The constant need to recycle on a small scale at low cost is more important than ever. Our service allows you to dispose of your unwanted batteries into a recyclable box supplied to your office. Once this box is full, simply call us during office hours and we will collect it within three days. We can even provide a replacement box upon collection!

Used batteries are hazardous waste and need to be stored and transported safely according to the Environmental Legislations.

We are fully licensed by the Environment Agency as a Waste Carrier (legally permitted to transport waste), ATF Waste Treatment Facility (legally permitted to treat WEEE) and an AATF (Authorised Approved Treatment Facility) which allows you to produce Evidence Notes recognised by the Environment Agency as part of the proof and recognition requirements of the WEEE legislation. Copies of all Waste Licenses and ISO Accreditations are available upon request.

The Battery Box is suitable for any size of waste portable battery, providing it will fit. The Battery Box can also be used for both single use and rechargeable batteries including:

• Button batteries, e.g. used in watches or calculators
• Mobile phone batteries
• Laptop batteries

Battery Box can offer a nationwide service for the collection and recycling of all waste batteries, from small portable up to large-scale industrial installations.
