Renewed partnership continues to reduce the cost of Windows 7 migrations

ChangeBASE partnership enhances SCC’s integration services and VDI capabilities

SCC, Europe’s leading technology integrator, has renewed its partner agreement with ChangeBASE AOK, the market leader in automatic application and remediation. The relationship between the two companies boosts SCC’s capacity to cost effectively design and implement IT systems of the future.

The contract is renewed as the business world rapidly begins the switch over to the faster, smarter and greener Windows 7 environment. It has already been proven to deliver significant benefits to customers of both partners. Prior to a migration, ChangeBASE AOK tests the compatibility of legacy applications with new operating systems and environments and automatically fixes over 95% of compatibility issues found. This enables SCC to plan major IT system changes with minimal impact on productivity or cost.

Since the launch of their Windows 7 migration service in October 2009, SCC has understood the need to test the ability of crumbling legacy systems prior to any migration. SCC uses ChangeBASE AOK to deliver fixed price application migration, automated testing and fast remediation.

A strategically managed integration to the Windows 7 environment using SCC's expert services and software typically reduces costs of application migration by 50-70%, depending on the individual customer situation, a significant saving for any business.

Following on from the introduction of SCC's innovative Desktop as a Service (DaaS) proposition, which facilitates greater flexibility for business users through the management of a central virtual desktop, the partnership with ChangeBASE AOK also affirms SCC's position at the forefront of VDI solutions.
