SCC selected to provide three year IT infrastructure outsource for Keoghs LLP

Keoghs, a leading specialist provider of legal services to the UK general insurance industry, has selected SCC, Europe's largest independent technology solutions provider, as its new partner to provide IT infrastructure and systems support services to underpin planned business expansion and provide an improved quality of service to staff.

The recently signed three year agreement will deliver end to end support for 650 users across three sites, encompassing a fully outsourced and remote service desk, end user computing support, plus management of the server network, to deliver an overall improved quality of service to the business.

Keoghs plan to grow the business over the medium term, through acquisition and organic growth, created the requirement for an increased breadth of service and flexible support model, both of which were key factors in SCC securing the business. The agreement will provide a future proof and scalable service model with the appropriate skills, to manage the existing infrastructure and engagements on future transformation projects.

Keoghs worked with the legal IT advisors, Neil Cameron Consulting Group, to assist in the management of the process of outsourcing their IT support function.

John Smith, Keoghs CIO, commented: "The decision to outsource this work was taken after a thorough evaluation of the options available to us and how these related to our business and IT strategies. NCCG helped us to develop the criteria necessary to make an objective, impartial decision, whilst also bringing to the table a strong knowledge of the capabilities of the various potential IT outsourcing suppliers.

"We are, therefore, very confident that we have made the right decision for our business and that we will have a productive long term partnership with SCC – one which will provide the flexibility our organisation needs, whilst also meeting very demanding service level requirements. The selection and transition work has gone according to plan, meeting very aggressive deadlines, and the performance of the Service Desk since then has been exceptional."

Steve Rafferty, Regional Sales Director, SCC, said: ""This new contract with Keoghs underlines the value of working with a single outsourcing partner committed to optimizing services around the IT infrastructure for business gain. We will provide a complete and flexible support model to both accommodate ongoing transformation, adding real value at every level of engagement."
