SCC scoops key award at Citrix Synergy 2010.

In what promises to be the year of Desktop as a Service (DaaS), SCC has won a key award at Citrix Synergy 2010.    

In what promises to be the year of Desktop as a Service (DaaS), SCC has won a key award at Citrix Synergy 2010. Accepting the prize at a packed San Francisco ceremony this week, Europe's leading technology integrator was presented with the award for Best Demo* of how businesses can connect via various devices to a Windows 7 desktop, hosted in SCC's Data Centre.

 Mike Swain, SCC's UK Services Director, said:

"The desktop of the future is finally here and it's available anywhere, anytime and anyhow. At the same awards ceremony, AppSense, who's technology was utilised to personalise the SCC virtual desktop session, saw it named Citrix Ready Solution of the Year. This was in recognition of the partner who best excels in delivering solutions that are complementary to and driving the adoption of Citrix technologies.
