The cornerstone of this strategy was the decision to become a multi-tied agent, incorporating third party products into its sales portfolio and re-engineering its people, process and technology systems. IT would play a vital role in the successful completion of this project so they enlisted the expert help of SCC.
At the heart of the project was the requirement for an enhanced storage solution to support the integration of the business' critical CRM systems with its key third party financial providers. Initial estimates suggested that they could expect their storage requirements to double as a result. Wesleyan also wanted to make the new solution as cost effective as possible.
Using a tiered architecture the Storage Area Network Solution (SAN), SCC has deployed allows premium support for core applications and a more cost-efficient way of managing less critical data. The new SAN is spread across two locations to ensure high availability and business continuity.
