HM Revenue & Customs has created significant cost reductions and performance improvement through leveraging industry leading technology procurement systems, coupled with a sophisticated end to end managed service.
In so doing, the purchase price of goods and services has been significantly reduced, whilst transactions costs, staff time and delays associated with order approvals have been cut.
In line with central Government targets, HMRC can now demonstrate that its approach to IT procurement, and its ongoing maintenance, will underpin efficiency targets. Not least, staff are able to free up time previously spent on labour intensive administration and information management.
