SCC assisted British Airways with a single global technology refresh, a five year long project, that aimed to underpin its strategy to web enable its business, encouraging customers to buy and self service online. British Airways has reduced technology operating costs by over 30 per cent and made improvements in performance quality that it estimates to top 50 per cent. Today, British Airways has a simplified and efficient desktop capability that is able to deliver its industry leading customer and employee internet based self service programmes.
